The Forge is essentially a collective AI robotic facility that creates and deploys robots while managing the entire operation. It knows at all times, via information gathered and reported up the bot hierarchy, which specific bots are required for each task. The Forge then assembles and builds them as needed. These robots are dispatched to the local planet to extract raw resources, most importantly Electrogems, and return them for refining. Many other systems across the known universe depend on the products The Forge produces. Each bot has a specific role and purpose to fulfill and their assignment can be determined by observing their technical equipment.
